When I started this blog, I wasn’t really sure what I wanted it to be, so I went with what I knew best…food.
As it turns out, besides ending my blogs with a segue to a recipe, it wasn’t about food at all.
Instead it ended up being about whatever random thought my ever wandering mind happened to settle on that day.
I don’t like to be boxed in…which is why I liked the name, Dishingwithdani. I knew I could always change my focus from dishes to just dishing.
So, let me tell you about myself, so you’ll have a clue what kind of material you might find here.
First and foremost, I was raised by a bunch of loud, crazy, Italian-Americans.
We love fiercely, laugh heartily and are loyal and protective to the core!
I’m stubborn. I do everything the hard way. I have spatial and left/right difficulties and technology hates me.
(I should probably just write this on college-lined notebook paper and staple it to utility posts) 🙂
I do have a few redeeming and endearing qualities…I’m 100 percent optimistic!
I’m prone to random skipping, looking for rainbows and riding shopping carts through parking lots.
I dislike like injustice. I hate mean people and I’m a bit of a conspiracy theorist.
My favorite things in the world are, in no specific order; my family and friends, oceans, lakes, rivers, sunrises, sunsets, books, adventures, animals, food, Taekwon Do, poetry, the stars, the sun, the moon, the beach, the forest, trees, climbing mountains, rollerblading, body boarding, sledding and cooking and baking yummy stuff.
So I guess, what I’m saying is, that my blog will reflect life…you never know what you’ll get.
